Getting started with Cropsight is easy! Simply reach out to us through our contact form, email, or phone number provided on our website. Our team will be happy to discuss your specific needs, provide detailed information, and guide you through the process of utilizing our services.
We fly DJI Drones with high quality still and video cameras.
WE are able to fly in most agricultural areas in and around the Riverland and Barossa but there are some restrictions.

We are unable to fly within 5.5km of an airport in accordance with CASA regulations.

We utilize CASA Approved Apps that show where there is restricted airspace. We can of course advise if there are any restrictions on flying over your property.
As per our CASA licence conditions we are able to fly during daylight hours.

In addition, we do not fly when it is raining or when the wind is more than about 25km/h.

The best images are captured on slightly overcast days when there are no harsh shadows, but on clear sunny days, 11am to 2pm is the optimum time with shorter shadows.
The turnaround time for processing and delivering the data and reports depends on the size and complexity of the project. Generally, we strive to provide timely results within a week.
The frequency of map updates depends on various factors such as crop cycles, specific farming requirements, and changes in field conditions. We work closely with farmers to determine the optimal mapping frequency based on their individual needs.

For Citrus, we suggest collecting new imaging annually.

For other cropping, it may be required 3 or 4 times in a season for monitoring specific growth cycles.

You may just need data in relation to a specific event - eg after a storm to assess the damage to your crop.
While our primary focus is on agricultural mapping we also provide aerial services for almost any purpose - including Infrastructure Inspections, Construction progress reporting, Real Estate Sales Photos and Video - almost anything where you require elevated photos and video.
For Agricultural work we have a few options of what we produce.

The basic output we provide is a report - this contains a summary of when the Images were captured and processing details. It also includes a preview image as well as Digital Surface and Terrain model previews.

We also provide a high resolution orthophoto in jpg format.

We process and can provide a high resolution Digital Terrain Model, as well as output imaging from 4 different algorithms for plant health.

If you are able to work with GeoTiff Images then we can provide the output in this format.

With the appropriate software utilizing the GeoTiff Images you can gain valuable historical comparison of all data collected, during a growing season or even year to year.
